A lovely Swedish-sold Volvo PV that has only had 3 owners.

The model designation is 444HS where S stands for special which means more chrome decoration and finer upholstery.

Dove blue paint and split windshield and ribbed grille give a lovely 50s feel

The engine is a B4B of 44 hp with a 3-speed gearbox with unsynchronized 1st.

The car has never been really rusty or has been rust repaired. The paintwork became a bit dull over time so the car was repainted in the original colour in the 80s and is still in a presentable condition. There are some age-related defects but the overall condition is good.

Fully functional and the car has only been exercised a few miles each summer.

A really nice Volvo PV in an unusual design and with a nice history.

The car has a nice history which you can read in the last photo.

The car is located in Mantorp and collection takes place after agreement with the manager (lars.nilsson@ps.se)

Three ways to bid

Classic - The bidding is fully handled by the system. The goal is to always place a bid right above the competing bidders but no more than that. The bidding service automatically places bids in your name up to your maxbid. The minimum bidding intervalls vary between items.


Comfort - Works like the Classic bid but with the difference that the system takes the current bid and reserve price into consideration in the cases there is one. A good choice if you know you’ll bid high but don’t want to get caught up in bidding below the reserve price.


Active - The bid will be the one you place and is handled manually. Good to use if you want to place a large bid from the start and take home the whole auction, but requires attention from the bidders part in case other bidder might have maxbids in place.

No reserve price

There is no reserve price for this item. That means that the highest bid will always be a winning bid.

Reserve price not reached

The bid has not yet reached the reserve price which is the price that the seller is willing to sell the item for. If the auction ends without the reserve price being reached, one of the following will happen. 1) The seller accepts the bid and an invoice is sent to the bidder within 3 working days. 2) A representative from PS Auction calls the bidder to negotiate the price within 3 working days. 3) The seller does NOT accept the bid. The item is either not sold at all or re-auctioned.

Reserve price reached

The bid has reached the reservation price the seller is willing to sell the item for. Unless something unforeseen happens, the bidder will receive an invoice for the item after the auction has ended.
