Plant walk and 3-course dinner for ten people at Gunnebo Castle and Gardens (Regards donation to charity)
Welcome to an educational plant walk in Gunnebo's cultural landscape with Simon Quartey from Det Vilda Skafferiet.
Simon is basically a chef with a passion for nature and the wild pantry and will show you what edible wild plants nature has to offer during the spring.
Each season has its unique palette of flavors and aromas, and during April the very first crisp greens sprout.
The plant walk will be an introduction to learning how to find and use seasonal wild ingredients.
Simon takes you to his favorite herbs in Gunnebo's landscape and teaches you how to pick and use them in the best way.
You will also receive a small booklet about the edible wild herbs in the Swedish flora that you have learned about during the day, as a guide for those who want to go out on their own after the course.
During the hike, great importance is of course also placed on informing about precautions regarding poisonous plants, as well as the protection and respect for our nature.
Think about clothing for the weather and comfortable shoes!
The hike takes just over two hours and ends at Kaffehus och Krog with a 3-course dinner featuring seasonal plants.
Can be carried out on a weekday in April 2026.
