Renovations and condition
The current owner has invested approximately four million kronor in a complete renovation of the ship over a two-year period. The work includes, among other things:

Operating status and note
During transport home from Motala, one of the engines was running a little hot. A gasket on an intake system therefore needs to be replaced. The work is not extensive, but the right spare part needs to be found and the entire system should be checked.

History
The ship has a long and well-documented history. It was delivered in 1960 to the shipping company HADAG in Hamburg and has since been in service in both Finland and Sweden. Previous names include Vesimies, Suvi and Furuskär. Since 1998, the boat has been named M/S Sandskär and has been used as a charter and restaurant ship. Current owners include illusionist Joe Labero , and major investments have been made to create a unique restaurant and event environment.

The ship is moored at the quay in Norrköping. Viewings are by appointment.
